In 2019, CAI Central Ohio will focus on “EDUCATION” as part of its bi-monthly luncheon events.
Education, in terms of career development, comes in many forms, including certification, licensure, and designation. Close to 19,000 community managers have earned the Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA®) credential, a certification administered by the Community Association Managers International Certification Board (CAMICB). CAMICB recently released an article titled, Decoding the ABC's of Credentials, Certificates & Designations: What do those letters behind your name mean?, that highlights the important distinctions of certification.
Join us for an in-depth discussion on the benefits of certification, particularly in the field of community association management. Get the inside scoop from CAMICB staff on what the CMCA exam is and is not. Take advantage of this unique opportunity to speak with CAMICB staff about the exam application process, and the steps you need to successfully become a CMCA.
The National Office will have a Denise Davenport of CAMICB at our January 10, 2019 Luncheon/Educational event to review the process and answer your questions.
